I was referred by my doctor to see Dr. Karamanoukian. I did see a specialist at the Cleveland Clinic and realized after my consultation that Dr. Karamanoukian has done more of these procedures than the surgeon I saw in Cleveland. He sure explained everything in more detail and made me feel very comfortable with all of the treatment options. The sympathectomy procedure went great and I don't sweat anymore and feel very confident at work. I recommend it highly to anyone who is interested in having it done.

Doctor Karamanoukian at the Center for Excessive Sweating figured out why I have a sweating problem. I have seen a dozen doctors and nobody was able to figure out why a 40 year old person had severe sweating. He diagnosed a systemic disease called sarcoidosis and I have begun treatment for it. I am indebted to this doctor who thoroughly evaluated me and diagnosed this medical problem. I thank him from the bottom of my heart. Dr. karamanoukian and staff are very good at what they do. They were able to get me in for me to get a cery comprehensive evaluation for hyperhidrosis where we talked about all of my treatment options in detail - I have tried some of these and look forward to have the ETS procedure as nothing seemed to have helped. I saw this doctor at the Center for Excessive Sweating and he was very straightforward with me and told me that given the fact that I sweat terrible from my head with dripping sweat - that I would expect to have some compensatory sweating after the surgery - that he wouldn't be able to predict how much it would be and where it would be. Since I didn't want to take that chance I decided not to have the sympathectomy procedure. I appreciate Dr. Karamanoukian's honesty and integrity. Thank you very much for the informative and thorough evaluation at the time of consultation. The doctor I saw in Rochester NY promised me that everything will be OK and that I would NOT have compensatory sweating - I like Dr. karamanoukian far better for being honest with me.
